Outdoor Field Archery Experience

A full two hours of archery with all equipment provided.

After a brief and thorough safety lesson with your coach, you will be introduced to your equipment and get shooting. As your accuracy improves, you’ll get to shoot at a range of interesting and fun targets, not just circles! Coaches will be on hand throughout to share tips, answer questions and keep everyone safe and having fun.

Starting at the outdoor target range, you will gain experience and confidence before we take you on to our woodland ‘field’ course. Amongst the trees, you will be guided through various fun and challenging 2D and 3D targets, and get to shoot up to 40 metres!

We recommend that participants wear trousers, preferably with a belt (this to attach your ‘quiver’ or arrowholder to), and flat waterproof shoes as this experience is outdoors. If you aren’t strong, don’t worry – not every bow is difficult to pull back! We have equipment suitable for all ages and strengths: generally speaking, if you are strong enough to pull open a standard door you can pull back one of the bows we have available.
