Our centre offers outdoor and indoor activities for all ages, from axe throwing and archery to woodland survival skills and airguns.
Based in the peaceful countryside of Bures, between Colchester and Sudbury, we’re easy to get to by road or rail.
Visit us and make amazing memories. Our activities take place in a beautiful oak-framed, castle-themed barn and five acres of stunning woodland and grassy ranges.
What’s on this Spring
Get out there and have a wild time
Our much-loved Archery Experiences are moving outdoors from April! These sessions are longer than the winter indoor ones and include a 3D woodland target course. Book now to secure your date.
Women’s Survival Discovery is back! On 30th March only, our renowned session taught by women, for women, returns. Learn survival skills in a fun, friendly but practical environment with no ‘macho stuff’.
Looking for unique things to do with the family in the school holidays? Why not try our 5-hour, multi-activity days for all ages and abilities. Archery, axe throwing, airguns and survival, all in one magical day outdoors.

IT’S BACK! For one day only, experience the full medieval bootcamp. Swordfighting, armour, longbows, shoot a real knight as he runs at you.

White Dragon Activity Centre operates on a bookings-only basis (no casual drop-ins). We offer modern and longbow archery, axe throwing, airgun shooting, bushcraft and survival day camps, parties and more!
