To celebrate our fifth anniversary and to commemorate the anniversary of the Battle of Agincourt, we are offering a special limited archery experience with a medieval twist on Sunday 24 October only.
We invite you to get hands-on with history and try out a medieval-style English longbow with authentic arrows!
You’ll begin with a safety briefing and some initial training from our coach (after all, it’s the enemy cavalry you Agincourt archers need to shoot, not random trees) and then we’ll set you loose on a variety of targets in our meadow and woodland ranges.
Authentic props are available for you to touch and try out, including medieval archer’s armour (and you may be surprised at what the average soldier wore into battle!). Our head coach is an expert in medieval archery and has given talks all over the country, so expect to find out lots of interesting historical facts along the way while having fun.
We recommend that participants wear trousers, preferably with a belt, and stout shoes as this experience is outdoors. Your coach will be dressed as an archer of Agincourt and you’re welcome to dress up too – but it’s not required.
This is a one-off session and numbers are limited… so don’t delay, book today!
By booking this experience you confirm that you have read and agree with our Booking Terms and Conditions.
